Taking 2025 season off

While we – I – had anticipated spending December updating the 2025 calendar as schools release their upcoming season schedules, life is dictating that SoCalBaseball will be taking the 2025 season off.

This is a one-man show, done out of passion for the last two seasons. Adding in the L.A., Inland Empire and Santa Barbara – Ventura County schools last year added far more hours to the project than anticipated.

Having lost both parents this last year, and having volunteered to help organize a church conference in May, something had to give – and I can’t afford to quit my day job just yet. 😉

We’ll still be out and about at college games throughout Southern California this year – we already took in the San Diego State fall exhibition against BYU, and have scheduled a UCLA – Dodgers doubleheader road trip in April.

As always, we encourage you to get out and catch a couple college baseball games. The level of play is likely better than you anticipate, and you’ll be far closer to the action than you’ll ever get at Chavez Ravine, the Big A or Petco.
