Cal State Fullerton, which received the Big West Conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division I baseball playoffs due to conference champion UC San Diego not being eligible due to its recent admission to Division I, has been assigned to the Stanford Regional.
The double-elimination format will see one team advance to the Super Regionals.
Joining Fullerton are:
- Stanford (Pac-12)
- San José State (Mountain West)
- Texas A&M (Big 12)
Fullerton opens Regional play this Friday at 7 p.m. against Texas A&M.
